Hi, I'm Franzie, If you know me and I sent you here, you don't have to read this.  If you'd like to know what I'm doing and why, this may be for you.

A Lighted Way was created in October of 1981.  I had just become single after 33 years of marriage in which I was supported and cared for.  My mother had died of cancer at an early age.   She had put me through college and taken care of all my needs until I got married. I had no brothers or sisters.  My three adopted children were grown and on their own.  

I found myself somewhat bewildered at having total responsibility for myself at age 53 ... I knew how to pray, so I did, and I was shown A Lighted Way.  My studies became more focused on ways to improve the length and quality of life. 

I went to Social Service and asked to become a foster mother.  Over the years, I've cared for 24 foster children, ages from a few months to teenagers.  What an adventure!

I want to share A Lighted Way with those whose lives touch mine.
