Baby Heston Update

The physical therapist was ecstatic with his improvement these past 2 weeks. We are positive the LIMU is responsible for his amazing progress. Thank you LIMU!!! 

HESTON UPDATE BY GRAMMY (Paula Redman) - June 11, 2006:

Heston takes at least 2 oz of LIMU daily. In the past 2 weeks he has started using and noticing that he has a right hand. He has pulled my hair, pinched my face and kicked his pacifier around on the floor with his right foot. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
HOWEVER, the greatest news is that when we got home from Little Rock yesterday, our daughter told us that Heston had taken his "FIRST STEP". We were so excited that we're having a PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HESTON UPDATE BY MOMMY (Lonne Bowman) - July 2, 2006
Yesterday, we met with the Occupational Therapist for the first time. And it could not have went any better! She did some of the basic testing on him...stacking blocks, throwing a ball, kicking a ball, coloring, etc. He did EVERYTHING she asked of him and then some!! He was clapping and squealing at himself every time he thought he did something good. The therapist kept telling me, "Mom, he is sooooooooooo smart". I would tear up every time she bragged on him!!!
Then, she did some things with his right arm and hand...bending, stretching, flexing, etc.

She looked at me and said "WOW"! This arm is much better than I thought it would be. It looks like he has come along way from the reports I have read!!! 

Needless to say, I was extremely happy when I left the office.
